Animals Dieing

It just saddens us to hear that over 6 million animals are being euthanized each year. The sad thing is, is that I am sure those numbers are not even half of the true number. (Some shelters and various organizations do not have to disclose how many animals they euthanize each year.) It is just sickening to think that these innocent animals have to die because of overpopulation--something that could have been prevented by more responsible animal owners.

As people in recent years have become increasingly aware of this problem, there have been large and small organizations trying to fight the problem by opening no kill shelters, foster programs, low cost spay and neuter, fix and release programs etc.  May God bless all of these people and all of the organizations for making such wonderful contributions and giving so much of their valuable time!!

We want to contribute as well! We are hoping this thrift shop will raise enough money to support these various charitable groups, raise money for food and supplies for the animals currently in shelters, hold out adoptions from the thrift store itself, and raise awareness not only in southern Utah , but all over the country where the over population has become a problem.

We want to hear from you Southern Utah!!!!!

If your an organization, a shelter, a volunteer, or just have a passion for animals tell us about it!!  We are looking for homeless animals to donate our funds to!  But we love hearing and sharing the stories of the animal community in southern Utah.

We are hoping to open this store in January...as we are trying to collect merchandise and get all our ducks in a row....if you would like to make a donation it would be appreciated!
